Children and Youth with Special Healthcare Needs

We provide health and related information about specialized services to families of children with or at risk for chronic illnesses and disabilities.

 

Current Projects:

Identifying and promoting evidence-based interventions for the child. We follow up with the families, assuring the families are aware of the resources and services available for their infants diagnosed with metabolic or endocrine conditions, confirmed hearing loss, and infants identified with a birth defect.

 

Current Projects:

Minnesota´s Follow Along Program Babies and young children grow and learn at their own rate. However, some children need special help to grow up healthy and learn skills such as sitting, walking, or talking. It will help you know if your child is developing at the same rate as other children and will evaluate.
